Safety couplings

The RV304 series safety coupling is used in the compressed air industry in industrial, workshop equipment and on assembly lines. It protects the user from uncontrolled venting and knocking over of the part to be vented. It complies with the ISO 4414 standard and is BIA compliant. Coupling is performed by pushing the plug into the coupling. After the plug audibly engages, the coupling is locked. When uncoupling, the first locking is released by pushing back the locking sleeve.

The coupling valve closes. The compressed air can now escape from the plug. The second locking mechanism is released by actuating the unlocking sleeve again. Only now can the connection be released.
